So many projects, so little time: To grab an overview of this LinuxTag's exhibits presented by open source projects, the booth staff have time to introduce their highlights in a few minutes. The Master of Ceremony has his finger on the fast forward button of recent Linux development.

Über den Autor Elke Moritz:

Elke Moritz is one of the founding members of LinuxTag and has been one of the organizers since 1997. She takes care of the exhibition booths of the participating free projects, is in charge of the volunteers, and organizes the catering for the speakers, free projects, and the crew.

Elke studied computer science with a minor in economics at the University of Kaiserslautern. After working at various reseach groups in the US on scientific visualization and virtual reality projects, she joined Mercury Computer Systems/Visage Imaging to develop medical imaging software.

She currently works as a senior QA engineer at Nokia in Berlin, Germany, and is responsible for the QA of the Public Transport Qt/QML app on Symbian and Meego.

Jacqueline Rahemipour ist aktives Mitglied im LibreOffice-Projekt (http://de.libreoffice.org) und Vorstandsmitglied des Vereins Freies Office Deutschland e.V. (http://www.frodev.org).
Sie hat sich mit ihrer Firma, der natural computing GmbH, auf Linux am Arbeitsplatz spezialisiert und bietet darüber hinaus Beratung, Schulungen und Migrationsunterstützung für LibreOffice und OpenOffice.org an.

Über den Autor Wolfgang Drotschmann:

Wolfgang Drotschmann (Jahrgang 1966, Dipl.-Inform.) nutzt Freie und Quelloffene Software seit Beginn der 1990er Jahre, und investiert seit einigen Jahren einiges an Freizeit in die Mitarbeit im LinuxTag e. V.
