The goal is ambitious: Berlin wants to becom the Silicon Valley of Europe. Thus, the policy aims. The LinuxTag takes it by its word and gives the vision a face with the new business consept “open valley berlin”.

The pillars of the concept are the community stand and the track on Wednesday, 23. May 2012, in the midst of the fair in hall 7.2b. On the 23. May 2012 IT companies from the region are getting a word in the open source arena in hall 7.2. Concrete open source success stories will be told and IT applications and solutions developed in Berlin will be presented to a broad audience.
