Microsoft’s new General Manager Open Source, James Utzschneider, takes over as keynote speaker on Microsoft and Open Source

The LinuxTag Program Committee has announced that James Utzschneider will be replacing Bill Hilf as the speaker on Microsoft's open source strategy at 2 p.m. on 10 June 2010. In his keynote address on Microsoft and Open Source Utzschneider will be talking about the work being carried out by Microsoft on open source, and how users of mixed IT environments can benefit from the company’s involvement in this area. James Utzschneider is General Manager Open Source with Microsoft where, over the course of a 15-year career, he has acquired a reputation as a modernizer, with a particular focus on the needs of the customers of tomorrow.
