Advanced Graphics Programming with Qt

This talk highlights several key features of Qt graphics programming, including the low-level, immediate-mode painting system and 2D scene graph provided by Graphics View. To ensure a successful smooth and attractive user interface, this can be complemented by animation, Web engine, scripting, and graphics effects, which will be suitable discussed as well.

The talk will be accompanied by some live demonstrations of the presented features. This would give a better idea how those features can stimulate exciting and interesting user interactions, in particular for next-generation modern desktop applications.

Über den Autor Ariya Hidayat:

Ariya is a software engineer employed by Qt Software, Nokia. He has been
involved in the open source community since 2001, writing code for projects
like KDE, WebKit and of course Qt. Ariya holds a PhD in Electrical
Engineering from the University of Paderborn, Germany. He lives in Oslo and enjoys sharing and exchanging cooking experiences.
