LinuxTag, Europe's leading exhibition on Linux and Open Source took place from May 28 - 31, 2008 at Berlin's Messezentrum unter dem Funkturm. The international event (conference languages are English and German) attracted more than 11,600 visitors ranging from IT managers, developers, system administrators to users and those interested in new and exciting Open Source solutions. For four days the exhibition halls at the Berlin Funkturm were the meeting place for users, experts and others with a particular interest in Linux and in free and open source software from all over Europe, Asia, Africa and North America.

Berlin, 21 May 2008 – On 29 May 2008 high-ranking representatives from business and politics will be meeting at the CIO summit in Berlin. The event forms part of LinuxTag 2008, Europe’s leading trade fair and conference for Linux and open source software.
