Managament Issues for Technical People

The relationship between Technical and Non Technical staff has always been characterized as either an unholy marriage or a creative and life enriching experience, sometimes at the same time. This session will discuss some the challenges, opportunities and threats when technical and non-technical people work in close proximity with each other with different perspective and expectations.

Über den Autor G. Matthew Rice:

G. Matthew Rice (Ontario, Canada) is Director of Product Development of the LPI Inc. He has overall responsibility for all Product Development at LPI and IT services. Matthew is a seasoned Linux systems administrator and programmer and has been involved with LPI for many years.
Since last summer Matt was responsible for all phases of implementation with the new LPIC-3 exams. He also leads the job task analysis program and the constant rotation processes in the current LPI exams.

Director of Operations and Product Development at LPI Inc.

Glenn has been with LPI since 2003. He has worked in all facets of LPI from business, affiliate relations, public appearances, exam development and routine day to day operations. Glenn's key role is overseeing Operations of LPI working collaboratively with the International partners to promote LPI exams.
Before joining LPI Glenn has been active worked extensively in business
working in South Africa and China on business development issues.
Glenn lives in Canada.
