1st Official LinuxTag Project Meeting

The Projects Committee wants to meet all of you Project Managers in person! Let's get together in a relaxed atmosphere and talk about the event, especially those aspects which are close to the Free Software Projects.

Project Managers give their feedback to the organisation of the overall event or the booth conception. The Committee wants to discuss the difficulties with 'commercial projects'. To incorporate the Free Projects into the planning of the fair, it proposes to constitute a Projects Advisory Council. Further topics are date and location of LinuxTag 2008, and ideas, wishes and schedule for LinuxTag 2008.

Project Managers could bring one or to other project members, too.

Wolfgang Drotschmann (Jahrgang 1966, Dipl.-Inform.) nutzt Freie und Quelloffene Software sei Beginn der 1990er Jahre, und investiert seit einigen Jahren einiges an Freizeit in die Mitarbeit im LinxTag e. V.

Über den Autor Marko Jung:

Marko Jung (Jahrgang 1978) beschäftigt sich bereits seit weit mehr als einem Jahrzehnt mit Freier Software und Open Source.
Wenn er nicht gerade den LinuxTag mitorganisiert und damit sein persönliches Umfeld in den Wahnsinn treibt, unterstützt er als freiberuflicher IT-Berater kleine und mittelständische Unternehmen bei Migrationen und dem Einsatz von freier Software. Zusätzlich zu den Kernthemen Sicherheit, Storage und Backup wurde in den letzten Jahren viel Kompetenz im Bereich Webpublishing, insbesonders mit dem Content Management Sytem Typo3, aufgebaut.
