JBoss: The SOA Platform

JBoss Enterprise Middleware is enterprise-class open source software to build, deploy, integrate, orchestrate, and present web applications and services in a Service-Oriented Architecture. The presentation will demonstrate enterprise capabilities of the platform by means of success stories.

Born in Neuchatel, Switzerland 1975, Sacha Labourey is the CTO of JBoss, a division of Red Hat. Sacha is responsible for the technology strategy of the JBoss division and for the development of JBoss Enterprise Middleware as the market's leading open source platform for service-oriented architectures. Sacha was a key player in the global development of JBoss, Inc., and was also responsible for the acquisition of the Arjuna Transaction Server and Web service implementations from Arjuna Technologies and HP. Prior to JBoss, Inc., he was the founder of Cogito Informatique, a Swiss consulting firm company working in the application server and middleware fields. Mr. Labourey is a graduate of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology graduate computer science program.
