LinuxTag 2006 closed Saturday, May 6, 2006 its doors. More than 9,000 visitors made the event in the Wiesbaden Rhein-Main-Hallen a huge success and emphasized LinuxTags role as leading European event for Free Software, Linux, and Open Source.
More than half of the 250 sessions have been presented bysind von internationalen Vortragenden gehalten worden international speakers from South Africa, Argentina, Japan, United Kingdom, France, and the Uited States. With more than 90 exhibiting free projects LinuxTag is the most important platform for Open-Source-Projects worldwide.

LinuxTag welcomes all international visitors! The conference and expo provide many interesting talks and exhibits for non-german speakers. 17.01.2007 LinuxTag 2007 End of May in Berlin, Germany
Bonn, Berlin, 16 January, 2007: LinuxTag, Europe's most important conference and exhibition for Linux and Open Source opens doors from May 30, to June 2, 2007 at the Berlin International Conference Centre, according to an agreement between Messe Berlin and LinuxTag Association. The essential conditions for the event stay the same: four days international conference, exhibition of Linux companies and sponsired free projects, and many special events form Europe's nexus of free software products...

Der LinuxTag 2006 ist am Samstag in den Rhein-Main-Hallen in Wiesbaden erfolgreich zu Ende gegangen. Mehr als 9.000 Personen besuchten die bedeutendste Veranstaltung rund um Freie Software, Linux und Open Source in Europa.
