About how, where, and why we use Debian

This talk is intended for anyone who is not (yet) using Debian.

I will talk about how I/we came to explore and use it at work, at home, just everywhere you can imagine.

I started my IT career at the age of 30 in a market analysis & research company, where I was responsible for the HP-3000 and user support with early Windows versions.
Later I worked in customer care & support with CompuNet (now Computacenter), where I did big rollouts for insurance companies, support for radio/TV stations, among other things.
I specialized in Solaris, later in Linux and in Firewalls.
Now I'm the network & security administrator in a health care IT company.
