What does it take to convince a major telco to accept Open Source development practices? How do you pitch standards-based telephony to an industry that's been accustomed to having its customers locked-in?

This presentation will cover Wengo's initial skype-killer pitch, subsequent growth, transition to a fully open and standards-based VoIP service, and world takeover. We will talk about GPL libraries, how they can be used, why they should be used, and how Wengo managed to initiate an Open Source voice revolution in record-breaking time.

Both technical and business-oriented, this talk demonstrates how Open Source telephony is revolutionizing the way big telcos think and do business.
