Registration for the Congress

A registration as visitor is required for the following events:

	Business- und Behördenkongress -> (directly to the registration), alternatively  without SSL
	Tutorials -> (directly to the registration), alternatively  without SSL
	For both events you can register as well by  Fax form.

For all other events of LinuxTag e.V. no prior registration is necessary, although for some partner events a registration can be useful.

Access to events and to the exhibition

The entrance fee covers visiting all events in the Free Conference, the Practical Linux Forum, the LAMP-Day, the Company Presentations, all Project Workshops, the BoF-sessions and the Evening-Lectures as well as several forum events of our partners and the exhibiting projects. Besides this, a ticket allows you to visit the exhibition.

Ticktes are solely available at the pay desk during LinuxTag. Exhibitors (both free projects als well as commercial exhibitors) receive vouchers that can be exchanged for a regular ticket at the pay desk. These vouchers cannot be refunded in cash.

If more than 20 tickets are needed (or in limited other cases), ticktes can be ordered in advance and payed on invoice. After the payment has been received, the tickets are kept for pickup at the paydesk. Please note that we have to charge a fee of 10EUR per order for this service. Please contact our  exhibitor support for further information regarding pre-ordering of tickets.

LinuxTag is part of the Free Software community. Therefore we have developed a special programme, which provides a contingent of vouchers to the community. This programme has a limited duration until 17. June 2005.

If you are a foreign visitor and need an invitation to LinuxTag or help with the visa and entry

requirements, please observe the following notes:

	Please give a detailed description of the reason for your visit and your relationship to Linux and Free Software (current use, interest in which particular topics, participation in Free Software projects etc.).
	Please provide information about your financial situation to show that you can easily get to LinuxTag and have the funds to live in Germany for the time you intend to stay. Please provide a proof that you have a return flight ticket (or a similar travel arrangement).
	Please provide a letter in an open format (plain text or OpenOffice) that fulfills the requirements of your country resp. those of the authorities concerned with your entry into Germany.

LinuxTag e. V. aims at making foreign visitors visiting LinuxTag possible, though due to complex entry regulations it is necessary to fulfill the aforementioned requirements to get visa/entry permits from the German authorities.
