Large scale LAMP solutions

von Björn Schotte (Mayflower GmbH)

Donnerstag, 23.06.2005, UG2: Mombert, 17:00-18:00 Uhr

A company with a green bunny face in its brand logo, one of Europe's leading companies for heating devices, provides a multi-national, multi-brand internet platform for customer organisations, heating device developers and end-customers for administering heating devices of customers. The main part is the availability of changing data parameters inside the heating device within realtime, providing predictive maintenance called diagnostics of the hardware including real-time datalogging and statistics, a linkage to the spareparts system and manuals for full-service and many more features. The system will push this company at the innovative edge inside this industry sector. Furthermore, the platform is available to be connected by ERP and other systems with SOAP and is accessible with MDAs and PDAs. Mayflower (better known as ThinkPHP), who is the developing partner of this web platform, will tell about this project from a technical and business perspective. Also, we conclude how we successfully built about 1 Mio. SQLite installations for a web platform that is also available on CD - a spare parts shop combined with OCR technology.
