Linux community at LinuxTagFree Software is impossible without the committed community of developers and users. LinuxTag sees itself as part of this movement and supports the community and its numerous projects to a high degree. LinuxTag is a meeting point for project members, people from user groups, companies, normal users and system administrators who use this Free Software.
The GNU/Linux communityThe often mentioned GNU/Linux community is the central force for the development of Free Software. At LinuxTag, members of the community - programmers, users and interested people, from Free Software projects as well as from companies - meet to further the exchange of ideas. This community ensures the continuity and the progress of the free GNU/Linux operating system and the software development which uses it as its base. Come to LinuxTag and get yourself a picture of the community. Get to know the people who are enthusiastic about Free Software and bring themselves and their ideas into the movement. Free projects present themselvesLinuxTag provides Free Software projects with comprehensive presentation areas for free. The projects present themselves in several booth groups which are integrated into the exhibition at several places in the exhibition hall. This is what makes LinuxTag so unique, because this is the way LinuxTag puts its mission into practice. The project coordinator is Helping in organising LinuxTagLinuxTag is a volunteer-driven event and is only possible due to the voluntary work of numerous supporters. LinuxTag is largely organized like a Free Software project.
